What does the Planning Scheme say about your address?

This tool checks any Ipswich address against the council's 2006 Planning Scheme flood overlay — the mapped flood layers under that scheme. It tells you which of the four mapped flood layers, if any, your block sits inside.

Note: this is a planning-scheme overlay, not a hydraulic flood model. It comes from the 2006 Ipswich Planning Scheme — superseded on 1 July 2025 by Ipswich City Plan 2025 — and reflects the version published on 2 August 2019, so it doesn't incorporate the 2022 flood event or the current scheme. Confirm the current flood position with Ipswich City Council. Treat this as a starting point, not the final word.
